Kristy Lee Cook

Kristy Lee Cook was born on January 18th, 1984 and grew up in Selma, Oregon. This 5'8" blue-eyed, blond beauty is truely the girl next door. When Kristy is not singing, she loves riding her horse Midnight. She also fishes, trains horses and kickboxes. Kristy lists her musical influances as LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Whitney Houston.

According to The Seattlest website, Kristy failed her first Idol audition in July in San Diego. From there, she wanted to give it another shot… but couldn’t afford a ticket to Philadelphia. Therefore, Cook reportedly sold her horse for $3,000.

Cook signed with Britney Spears production company, B & L Productions a few years ago. Spears wanted to help promote other young talents and chose Kristy as her first artist. Then Britney went crazy and as they say, the rest is history.
